Can you tell me more about the EcoDiesel engine?

The long-awaited diesel Jeep Wrangler is finally here, and it was definitely worth the wait! The new third-generation 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine provides the Wrangler Unlimited with a whopping 442 lb-ft of torque. The increased torque numbers make crawling through off-road trails a breeze. The diesel engine also offers increased fuel efficiency so you can adventure longer and fill up less. If you prefer the gas version of the Wrangler, you can choose between a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine and a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine. Both engines can be paired with either engine start-stop or mild-hybrid e-Torque technology.

Can you tell me about off-road capability?

The Jeep Wrangler wouldn't be a Wrangler unless it came with some serious four-wheel-drive systems which are why you can pair the SVU with either a Command-Trac 4x4 system with a 2.72:1 low range, a Rock-Trak 4x4 system with a 4:1 low gear ratio, or a Selec-Trac 4x4 system that switches between two and four-wheel-drive depending on conditions. Each version of the Wrangler boasts a best-in-class approach angle of 44 degrees, a breakover angle of 27.8 degrees, and a departure angle of 37 degrees. The Wrangler is also benefited by a ground clearance of 10.9 inches. The Wrangler Rubicon is further benefited by Tru-Lock Electronic Locking Differentials and Electronic Front Sway Bar.

What are the three new special editions?

Certainly! So far, Jeep has introduced three special editions for the 2020 model year, which includes the Black and Tan edition, the Willys edition, and the Freedom edition, which honors the United States Armed Forces. The hood of the Wrangler Freedom edition is adorned with an "Oscar Mike" military star. An "Oscar Mike" decal, which translates to "On the Move" can also be found on the rear tailgate. The American Flag is visible above the Jeep logo next to both the passenger and driver side doors. The Black & Tan edition comes with Heritage Tan cloth seats, a Wizard Black instrument panel, and a 7-inch touchscreen. All-weather slush mats, 32-inch Firestone mud-terrain tires, and heavy-duty brakes are all found on the Willys edition.
