Position Title: Automotive Technician
Income Potential: $15 - $60 per hour or flat rate hour
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Technician Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our reputation for exceptional automotive care. Duties:
- Diagnose vehicle issues using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics.
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Conduct diesel engine repairs and maintenance for trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized repair tools.
- Perform wheel alignments and suspension adjustments.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues including ADAS calibration.
- Maintain detailed service records and complete repair reports.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and dealership quality standards.
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations to service advisors.
- Continue learning through training and certification opportunities.
Skills:
- Some level of automotive technician experience is required.
- ASE certifications or dealership experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, schematics, tools, and diagnostic procedures.
- Experience working on Stellantis / FCA vehicles is a plus but not required.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance devices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of automotive service standards and safety protocols.
